Arthur T. Hill affectionately known as "Man", "Art" or "Art the Bear", was born March 24, 1973 to Barbara Carter and the late Rueben Hill. Born in Trenton, NJ, Arthur was educated in the Trenton Public School System. He later moved to Philadelphia, PA, where he was a current resident.
Arthur was previously employed at Wood's Service for 20 years. He was currently employed at St. Gabes in Norristown, PA as an Officer.
Arthur was a loving, caring, funny and outspoken person. He was full of life and enjoyed it to the fullest. He loved his family and friends, but most importantly his children. If you ever came in
contact with him, you would feel the love he exuded from the inside out. Arthur was a huge New York Giants fan and supported his team greatly. He was everyone's hero and the love he shared will never die.
On October 19,2019, Arthur departed this earthly life. Although he is no longer present, his memories will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
In addition to his father, Arthur was predeceased by his grandmother, Barbara Dillard; and one uncle, Claude Dillard.
He leaves to cherish these memories: his mother, Barbara Carter; his children, Justin Hill, Brandon Hill, Anika Hill; Melana Hill, Amirah Hill, and Tierah Spikes; one grandson, Zylan "June Bug" Hill; his sisters, Yvette Carter, Diane Carter, Vergie Howard, and Tammy Claridy; one brother, Khalil Carter; his nieces, Shaniqua, Shermaine, Shamera, Shaquera, Brianna, Aliyah, Kariezma, Ijanae, Azure, and Aniyah; his nephews, Callectt, Adell, and Lavonte; a special best friend, Tanzanicka Reeves; his friends, Marcus Morris, Julian Rogers, Tone Baker, Butch Cathett, Allen Hendricks, and Sam Morse; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends including the Philly Crew.
Funeral service will be 11am Friday, November 1, 2019 at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 735 E. State St., Trenton, NJ. Calling hours will be 9am until the time of service at the church. Interment Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing, NJ. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home.
