Almeta Hunter Obituary

'With much love spread and many memories shared, our beloved Almeta accepted her angel's invitation into the kingdom on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Trenton, New Jersey. As a result, our hearts are less bright but we know the heavens are filled with extra doses of love, joy, peace and laughter.

Almeta Hunter, born April 14, 1969 in Trenton, New Jersey to Doris Blakely Hunter and George Young. She remained a resident of Trenton her entire life.

She was educated at Marie Katzenbach School For the Deaf She was employed at Arc/Mercer where she worked in the OTC Program for the past thirty-three years.

In her leisure time, Almeta enjoyed reading the Bible and her passion was doing Word Search puzzles. Although she had a deficiency; she never allowed it to impede her progress, Almeta did whatever she put her mind to. She adored her son Michael and her love for him superseded anything else in her life. She'll also be remembered for her love family and close friends. Her memory will never' be forgotten and she will be missed dearly:

She was preceded in death by her parents Doris Blakely Hunter and George Young; grandparents Jack and Classie Mae Blakely; her uncles Albert Blakely Jr. (Griffie), and James Allen Blakely Sr.

Almeta's memory will be cherished and forever remembered by her loving and devoted son Michael Hunter Blakely; her aunt Mary E. Blakely; her cousins Stella Blakely, Deborah Blakely, Jonathan Blakely (Vivian) and Carol Blakely Reading and last but certainly not least her cousin/guardian Janice Blakely-Williams (Reggie); the Pitts family, the Reading family and the Blakely family; a host of other relatives and friends.
