Alon Walker

When someone you Jove becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. 

With much love spread and many memories shared, our beloved Alon peacefully on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at his home in Ellenwood, Georgia. As a result, our hearts are less bright but we know the heavens are filled with extra doses of love, joy, peace and laughter. 

Alon Izymyiel Walker was born in Princeton New Jersey on September 10, 1999 to Michele Walker and Daniel Walker Jr. 

He was educated in the Princeton and Ewing New Jersey School Systems. He played football for the Blue Devils at Ewing High School. He had a number of jobs serving asa host,landscaper, and most recently he worked at Kroger's Supermarket in Ellenwood GA. On his days off, he would write, paint, draw, rap and listen to music and cooking. 

Alon was known as Flip because, he knew how to create, trade, bargain and network. Alon was a hard worker and earned everything he wanted through nard work. Often you could find him often outside maintaining the yard and playing with dog Raven. 

In 2018 Alon was involved in an accident that left him with a Traumatic Brain Injury and severe pain, he recovered to some degree but, he was not the same, he strugg1cd with memory and hearing loss and communication and pain, and through it all lie still re­mained with child's innocence, and man's strength, always helpful with his family, He would spend a lot of times outdoors maintaining his home, with yard work and finding projects in the home to work on to please his mother and sometimes not please his mother, but his always genuine and always tried and meant the best. Alon loved his family that was for sure, he took care of his nephews and nieces, he cooked for them, and he played with them he was great uncle. 

Alon was also rebel in society, not always understanding the cruelness of the world, and why things were the way things were sometimes and why some people would try to hurt him, be would fight back, lie was a warrior and a protector of his family especially his mother and sisters, he felt obligated to do so; despite his circumstances, he never was complained or was burdened and found his solution to his pain. Alon had a gentle heart, he would go out his way to help anyone in need, helping his family, neighbors, strangers and he was a sweet heart with a radiating smile that took pride in his efforts. He was appreciated and he was absolutely loved and will be missed. He lives on in the energy and memory that we all carry in the hearts. 

Alon's memory will be cherished and forever remembered by his mother Michele Walker Uoseph Johnson); his father Daniel Walker Jr. (Monica Burgos); his godmother Vinessa Gillette; his sisters Sahmonc, Sianni and Daniells Walker; his brothers Trc'von Walker and Marqui McBride; his nephews Zyon and Amir Walker; nieces Jade Walker and Kamila Cornejo-Walker; grandparents Larry Lopez Sr and Marcia Lopez / Pearl Macha' Belli and the late Daniel Walker Sr.; Larry Lopez Jr. (Nneka Glover), Marcus Lopez, Jermaine Walker; cousins Nekhi and Niomi Glover, Imani, Tyrese, Quadeer Walker and Isaiah Walker; his faithful dog companion, Raven whom was present as he passed on; host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. 

Funeral service will be 1pm Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 12pm until the time of service. Interment will be private.
