A'mour Roberts

With great heartbreak, on Sunday. March 17, 2024, we lost a young and beautiful soul. Through love and joy A'Mour M. Roberts was born to Shakeerah Nesbitt and Quashawn Roberts 
A'Mour affectionately known as FatFat attended Gregory Elementary School as a bright 1st. grader who adored Funzilla, pouring his heart into drawing and writing love notes for Kori. He savored McDonald's meals, and eagerly calling or texting his mom during her work hours, urging her to return home. He often longed for his mom to arrange outings with his best friend Bob, and he affectionately referred to his sister Na Zaya as Angelica Pickles, hoping she'd take him to the movies. Together with his "Brobro" his identical twin, A'Miir, they would playfully team up against their older brother Zion, who was not only his cuddle partner but also their target for playful antics. A'Mour's absence will leave an enduring void in the hearts of those who loved him, as he will be deeply missed every passing day. 
 

A'Mour was fortunate to belong to a large family, including numerous adopted aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, and cousins. However, early in his life, A'Mour faced health difficulties, leading his mother to seek help from a specialist. This expert diagnosed A' Mour with hearing issues. On August 9, 2023, A'Mour underwent a life-changing procedure: the outcome was remarkable, transforming him into our very own Cochlear Implant Superhero. 
 

A Mour was preceded in his passing by his maternal grandmother Yolanda Marie Nesbitt and uncle. Cagney Roberts. He will be remembered forever by his loving parents, Shakeerah Nesbitt and Qushawn Roberts, his identical twin, A'Mir, his siblings, Na'Zaya Treadwell (Rayshawn, Tyriena), Zion Thomas, Isaiah Lee, Quashawn Roberts, Jr., Donte Alexander, Arianna Harris, and Easton Roberts: maternal grandfather, Michael Jennings: paternal grandmother, Windy Roberts (Shawn Brown). Paternal grandfather, Lavonza Burnett: uncles, Fernando Jennings and Donald "Mookie" Roberts, Michael Jennings. and Fareed Jennings: aunts, Natara Nesbitt (Kalim Mims), Candance Smith (Stanley Smith), Dominique Carter (Jamaal Carter) Windy Roberts, Jolanda Kirk, and LaShaye Griffin. Special cousins, Aryonna, Christopher, Kalim, Jr., and E'Kari (cousin Khary) Godmother, Sharmaine Wright (Avion Wright): best friends, Kori Brown and Jafar Marshall. A very special father figure, Bobby Thomas: and a host of loving uncles, aunts and cousins. 

Funeral service will be 11am Friday, March 29, 2024 at Ministerios Fraternidad Cristiana, 715 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hours will be 10am until the time of service. Interment will be private.
