Antonee Collin Gooden Obituary

Antonee Collin Gooden, age 66, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2026, at Capital Health Hospital in the presence of loved ones and the Lord. He was born in Westmoreland, Jamaica, a place he loved and carried in his heart throughout his life.

Antonee spent his formative years in Jamaica, where he attended Frome High School. He later migrated to the United States where he built a life grounded in dedication, responsibility, and quiet strength. For many years, he worked as a Senior Postal Clerk, where he was known for his reliability, strong work ethic, and commitment to serving others.

He had been a resident of his community for over 13 years, building meaningful relationships and leaving a lasting impression on those around him. In his final days, regardless of how he felt, it was never reflected in his voice. His voice remained strong and warm, always carrying hope and belief in his recovery. In the days before his passing, Antonee made a personal decision to accept Christ, finding peace and spiritual comfort.

He is lovingly remembered by his beloved wife, his children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters, and a wide circle of extended family and friends who will continue to honor his memory and the impact he had on their lives.

A memorial service celebrating Antonee’s life will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Trenton Church of God of Prophecy of New Jersey, located at 397- 401 Second Street, Trenton, NJ 08611. The service will be officiated by Minister Michael Powell. He was privately cremated and his final resting place will be Westmoreland, Jamaica, where he will be laid to rest at a later date, returning him to the place where his journey began.

He will be remembered for his quiet strength, his warmth, and the unwavering hope he carried, even in his final days.
