Leon, enlisted into the U.S. Navy in September of 1980 and served as an Electrical/Mechanical Equipment Repairman. During his term of service, he sailed from coast to coast from Europe, Asia, Australia, to Antarctica on the USS Vancouver and the USS New Jersey.
