Obituary
Arthur Leon Harvey age 70 passed on September 30, 2021.
Arthur was born in Trenton, NJ on April 2, 1951, and lived for the majority of his adult life being educated in the Mercer County and Burlington County school systems. He attended Vocational School to learn how to operator commercial vehicles becoming employed as a truck driver for various businesses in the area.
Shotski, as he was affectionately called by those of his family and friends, was loved not because he was a relative or those he befriended but because he was funny and loved to be around people. He especially loved playing cards.
Arthur was predeceased in death by his father William Harvey, his mother Virginia Stevenson Harvey, three brothers Charles Harvey, Jerome Harvey and Richard Harvey, a sister and brother-in-law Sadie and Tim Jones, 2 grandchildren DeAundre Roberts and Josiah Harvey, paternal grandmother Marie Rainer, maternal grandmother Anna Stevenson, paternal uncle and aunt Sonny and Louise Rainer, and maternal aunt Ether Mills.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife Leatrice Harvey, two son's All Divine, and Minister Nikian Harvey (Natishia), six daughter's Tanika Rivers-Jones, Kieana Rivers, Nicole Harvey, Niketa Harvey-Wise (Shannon), Althea Robinson, and Fallon Holland (Larry), 17 Grandchildren, 5 greatgrandchildren, one brother William (Wayne) Harvey (Elizabeth), two sister's Pastor Delores Stevenson and Denise Tucker, his mother and father-in-law Louise and Vincent Briggs, two sister-in-law's Sandra and John Mink, and Yvette and Kevin Griffin, his best friend's William Byrd 'and Eddie Rooks, a host of niece's, nephew's, cousin's, extended family members, friends and three adopted nephew's Marcus Hale, Brian Harris, and Deon Dunkin.
Funeral service will be 1pm Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 150 N. Clinton Ave., Trenton NJ 08609. Calling hours will be 11am until the time of service. Interment will be private. Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home.
