Audrey M. Taylor

Our Lord and savior called his faithful servant, Audrey, to rest on Friday, December 2024 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Serenity Place in Hamilton, NJ. As a result our hearts are less bright but we know the heavens are filled with extra doses of Love, Joy, Peace and Laughter and we know she got her Angel wings.

Audrey Marie Taylor was born on March 25, 1976, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Deborah E. Samuels and Lodge Townsend. She was educated in the Philadelphia public school system; she attended Thomas Creighton Elementary School and Samuel Fels High School. After relocating to Trenton, New Jersey she furthered her education while attending Mercer County Community College, where she earned her Liberal Arts Degree, Applied Sciences (AAS) class of 2020.

Audrey was employed as one of the best stylist assistants to many top stylists in Philadelphia, she got her start at Heaven Hair Salon in Philly. She also worked as a Case Manager/Lead Evaluator at Isles, Inc., Community Volunteer for Arm and Arm as their Outreach Liaison/Program Manager/ Residential Counselor at Mercer County Non Profit Social Services.

In her leisure time, Audrey loved to travel. She loved her family and close friends and enjoyed spending quality time with them. She was adored and she'll be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She worshipped at Westminster Presbyterian Church. She also attended Isles Inc. and Recover is Essential (RIE).

She was predeceased by her mother Deborah E. Samuels; stepfather Patrick Samuels; father Lodge Townsend; her grandmother Algia Lee Robbins.

Audrey's memory will he cherished and forever remembered hv her only son Saafir Brittany, Nakiya, Zaiona, Michelle, Kayla, Algia "Gigi" and Emme; nephews Mike, Kevin Jr., Malik, Jarred, John III, Kyree, Joshua and Bruce; God-daughter Alivah; her life partner Jasmine Martinez; Godmom/sister Stephani Register; a crew of sister girlfriends whom she adored: our only living aunt Janice Taylor and a host of cousins and close friends

Funeral service will be 11am Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1140 Greenwood Ave., Trenton NJ 08609. Calling hour will be 10am until the time of service. Interment will be private.
