Barbara A. Bunn

Barbara Ann Bunn was born in Raleigh, North Carolina on October 1, 1958. At the age of 63, Barbara departed this life on June 16,2022, at The Samaritan Center at Voorhees in Voorhees, New Jersey. 

Barbara was a resident of Trenton, New Jersey for 56 years. She was educated in the Trenton Public School System and graduated from Trenton Central High School. After graduating, she joined the United States Army National Guard. After several years, she was honorably discharged. She was employed at the New Jersey Department of Correction before retiring. She was currently employed as a home healthcare. 

Barbara attended Holy Light Church of Jesus Christ in Burlington, New Jersey. 

Barbara loved to go vacationing in Atlantic City and visiting her relatives in North Carolina. Family was important to her, and she will be greatly missed by all. 

Barbara was predeceased by a daughter, Natalie Nicole Watson; and her son, Nathaniel Watson Jr. III. 

She leaves behind to cherish her memories: her daughter, Ayisha Watson; her mother, Barbara L. Bunn; a son-in-law, Dwayne Woodbury; two grandsons, Makhi Watson and Khiry Woodbury; five siblings, Alan (Carol) Bunn, Wanda Hunter, Rhonda Bunn, Martin Bunn, and Marvin Anderson; a special friend, Wendell Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends. 

'God saw you getting tired, 
And a cure was not to be. 

So He put His arms around you 
And whispered "Come to Me. " 

With tearful eyes we watched you, 
And saw you pass away. 

Although we loved you dearly, 
-we could not make you stay. 

A golden heart stopped beating, 
Hard working hands at rest. 
God broke our hearts to prove 
To us He only takes the best. 

Funeral service will be 1pm Thursday, June ​23, 2022 at Calvary Christian Fellowship Ministries, 611 Parkway Ave., Ewing, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 12pm until the time of service. Interment will be at Ewing Cemetery, Ewing, NJ. Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home.
