Eulogy:
There is an often used term ... "They don't make them like that anymore" ...
Barbara or Ba (Vietnamese for Grandmother) as she was often referred to since becoming a grandma, she personified that term. For reasons as polarizing and as magnetic as her personality. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmom, friend, confidant, advisor, critic, heckler, antagonist and advocate all with equal ease.
As a hard worker she put her all into anything she did. From working two and three jobs to ensuring her children had a safe home. To decorating the home that embodied her pride and her ability to create her own environment inside and out. Her ability to see beauty was not limited to her home and garden. She eternally saw the potential and beauty in people as well. As a woman of strong faith she remained steadfast on the hope for the betterment of people's situations. She leaves behind a legacy of love and rich memories.
