Barbara J. Love

Barbara Love age 85 of Trenton, NJ passed away December 4, 2022.  

Barbara was born in Jacksonville, FL to Roy and Rachel Austin. 

She was raised in Trenton, NJ, where she resided most of her life. 

Barbara worked at Carrier Foundation, in Belle Mead, NJ as a Nurse Assistant.  

She was a member of New Bethlehem Baptist Temple, Usher Board, Senior Board and Mother Board and she loved to travel.

Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Roy and Rachel Austin; daughter Barbara Thompson; granddaughter Sonya Mahan; two sisters, and seven brothers.

She is survived by her children, Donna (James) Clark, Rev. Leroy (Rhonda) Barnes, Beverly Barnes, Robert M. (Barbara) Barnes Sr., Patrick D. Barnes Sr. and David W. Barnes; three sisters, Betty (Perry) Jennings, Vivian Austin and Grace Hawk; two brothers, Earl Austin, Rev. Glen B. (Brenda) Austin Sr.; 21 grandchildren, and 45 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. 

Funeral service will be 11am Monday, December 19,  2022 at Galilee Baptist Church, 440 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Trenton, NJ, 08618. Calling hour will be 10am until the time of service. Interment will be at Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton, NJ. Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home.
