Betty L. Ratliff

Mrs. Betty L. Ratliff was the seventh of seven children born on January 28, 1943 to the late Adeline Williams and Charley Green of Titusville, Florida.  She was educated in the Titusville school system and went on to graduate from beauty school.

Mrs. Betty L. Ratliff was a licensed beautician and in addition to that she worked for the State of New Jersey Hughes Criminal Justice Complex for over 20 years.

She served as a Deaconess, a member of the Combined Choir and the Willing Workers of First Baptist Church of Princeton New Jersey.

On January 28, 2021 Betty L. Ratliff was called home to be with the Lord.

She is preceded in death by her husband G.K. Ratliff, her son Theodis Ratliff and siblings Charley, Albert, and Henry Green.  She is survived by her siblings Alma Gaines, Joyce (Clyde) Holland and Richard Green.  She is also survived Sylvia Ratliff, Theo (Adena) Ratliff, Nicole Ratliff, Angel Ocasio, Jr and A’Quinton Ocasio as well as six great grandchildren.

She will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews and other loving family members.  Betty will be remembered for her infamous smirk and sly side looks, her expertise in decorating, and her selfless cooking for others at the First Baptist Church of Princeton New Jersey.

Services will be 9-11am Monday, February 8, 2021 at the Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618.  Interment will be at Ewing Cemetery, NJ.
