Beulah Mae Wilson, was born on January 21, 1947, to the late David Andrew and Lillie Mae Burrus. On Wednesday, July 15, at the age of 78 Beulah entered in to theloving arms of her Lord and Savior at Capital Regional Medical Center in Trenton, New Jersey.
Born in Belhaven, North Carolina, she was raised in Fairfield, NC. She attended the North Carolina public school system. She graduated from 0.A. High School in Swam Quarter, NC. She was a member of the Star Zion Disciple Church in Fairfield.
Beulah was a former member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Trenton and she attended Grace Community Church.
She was previously employed by Mercer Medical Center and Macedonia Child Care Center.
In addition to her parents, Beulah was predeceased by her husband James Curtis Wilson Sr.; her daughter Jacklyn Marlene Burrs; her granddaughter Mynah Glover; three brothers Billy Ray Barber, David Earl Burrus, Eugene Burrs and Arthur Leé Burrus; four aunts Mary Jane Wormley, Elizabeth Burrus, Dorothy Burrus and Katie Mae Woods.
She leaves to mourn her son James Curtis Wilson Jr.; her special grandson James Turner (whom she raised); four sisters Barbara Montgomery (Bobby), Vivian Weston, Linda Murray (Ricky) and Cynthia Lakey; two brothers Rolmus and Roger Burrus; four granddaughters Keyiere, Raven, Elaine and Mahogany; three grandsons Fontaine, Rajon and James; nine great grandchildren, three sisters-in-law Victoria Barber, Doris Burrs and Lucressia Burrus; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was so nice and sweet: Beulah was a Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Cousin, Aunt, Friend and most of all a child of God that meant so much to us. We will never forget you, you were one of a kind.

Funeral service will be 1pm Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hours will be 11am until the time of service. Interment will be private.
