Billy J. Ford was born March 8, 1948 in Dillon, S.C to the late Rose Mae Carmichael. He slipped into eternal rest on January 8, 2022. Billy was a resident of Willingboro, NJ for 41 years.
Billy was educated in the public schools of Dillon, S.C As a youth he attended St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Dillon, S.C .
In 1967, Billy was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Lillie P. Ford. He retired from the US Steel Corp in Fairless Hills, PA in 2010, after 35 years of loyal and dedicated service.
Billy was also a former member of the Cycle Kings Motorcycle Club in Trenton, NJ. He loved his 2 daughters and was also a devoted grandfather to his 3 grandsons. He
cherished every moment with them. Billy was into cars, especially Cadillacs. He loved his suits and hats as much as he loved his car. He will be greatly missed by all the friends he has made throughout the years.
Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie P. Ford, mother Rosa Mae Carmichael, son Wendall Ray Pitman, brothers Bobby Ford and James D. Ford, and sisters Carolyn Williams and Lenny Carmichael-Ford.
Surviving are his daughters Dawn N. Jerido (Alex) and Jessica N. Ford, son Brian Jones (Shakawn), three grandsons Alex Jerido [r, Justin Jerido, and Nico Palmer, a granddaughter Elizabeth Jones, and his sister Sadie Hatchell; special nieces Tanya (Shelton) Harlee, Veronica (Douglas) McCrae, Towanta Manning, Lisa Powell and a nephew David Ford and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, cousins, and friends.

Funeral service will be 10am Friday, January 21, 2022 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 9am until the time of service. Interment will be at Ewing Cemetery, Ewing, NJ.
