Bonnie Jean Corbin, 80, transitioned from this life on Sunday, May 24, 2026. Born in Princeton, New Jersey on November 29, 1945, she was a lifelong resident of Lawrence Township Public School System. Ms. Corbin retired from Craft Cleaners in Princeton, after more than 40 years of service.
Bonnie was a loving and caring person. She was known as the one who was always helping her neighbors in her building at the Louis Josephson Apartments in Trenton. Ask anyone what her favorite dish she would bring to a function, everyone will say, "barbecue smoked turkeynecks". Don't get it messed up, they were absolutely finger licking good! Bonnie was always eating, and she prayed.
Her brothers and sisters referred to her as "drop a dime Bonnie." She wouldn't fight, but she sure would drop a dime on you in a heartbeat. If you don't know, that meant she would have no problem calling the police on you!
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Alice Corbin; brothers, Steven Corbin and Ernest Corbin, Jr (Lizzie Mae Corbin); and sisters, Lillian Marshall and Carrie Gilchrist. Bonnie leaves to cherish her memories: Her sons, James Corbin and Sharif Corbin; her grandsons, Sharif Corbin, Jr and Paul Corbin; her siblings, Pastor Leon Corbin of Nevada, Vivian Wilson of Pennsylvania, Theresa Roberson, Julius Theodore "Teddy" Corbin, Virginia Finney (Mark), and Dena Corbin (Abdus Shakur Bell) of New Jersey; a host of nieces and nephews; friends and loved ones.
