Brenda lived her life marked by love, kindness, and devotion to her family and community. She spent most of her life in Trenton, New Jersey, where she built, lasting friendships and touched the lives of many. Brenda was known for her no nonsense, attitude, gratitude, and comparison. She was a collector of people and things, always opening her home to those who needed it most. She enjoyed being around her family, hosting cookouts, playing cards games and bingo, and going to the casino. She was incredibly lucky lady, she always left with more than she came with. She enjoyed traveling, but refused to fly or take other public transportation, so most of her traveling included a car ride.
Brenda Welch attended Trenton Central High School and she worked as a home health aide. She also worked at Trenton Time and Andy's Steakhouse over the years of her life.
She is survived by her three children Anthony Welch Bay, Aretha and Errick Wiggins; her spouse and Andrew Welch Drew Bay; one sister Janie Welch-Butler; four brothers, Joseph Welch, Leon Welch, James Welch and Johnny Welch, 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and one great grand dog named Luna Belle, who she love.
She was preceded in death by her mother Maude Esther Marshall-Welch; her father Joseph Welch; her two sisters, Janet and Dolores Welch; her three brothers Georgie, Marshall, Theordore, Teddy, Welch, and Robert Bobby, Marshall; her granddaughter Nykaja Brooks; her niece Tanya Welch.
Those who knew Brenda will remember her for being fearless, independent, being a grandmother to all and most importantly for her straightforward attitude. She has a special way of keeping people on their toes while making them feel loved at the same time. Her memories will live in the hearts of her family and friends.
