Carlotta Bell

LIFE REMEMBERENCE

Carlotta Bell, daughter of the late Printis Tootle and Mildred Tootle Lee. Ex-wife of the late Norris M. Bell. Born July 1, 1953 at St. Francis Hospital, Trenton, NJ where nuns blessed her with her name Carlotta. She entered into eternal rest peacefully at home on May 19, 2023.

Carlotta was educated in the Trenton, NJ school system and also studied at Mercer County Community College. Her career path let her to work as a Loan Reviewer at NJ Housing Mortgage and Finance Agency where she received her retirement resolution for26 years of dedicated service at the age of 62 in 2015.

The youngest of eight children, Carlotta was preceded in death by siblings James Tootle, Shirley Santiago, Leon Tootle and Terry Tootle. Also preceded in death by grandson DeAndre Johnson, nephews Allen Tootle, Evans Lee, niece Tameka Tootle and special friend of 20 years Logan Monk.

She is survived by her loving sisters Equndia T. Young and Patricia Tootle Collins of Glennville, GA and Brother Jessie Tootle of Smyrna, DE. She also has three half-sisters Judy, Naomi and Suzy.

Carlotta lovingly leaves her legacy to her two devoted children, Norris M. Bell II of Willingboro, NJ, Tammie T. Bell-Davis of Willingboro, NJ and son-in-law, Kenneth L. Davis. Eight grandchildren, Justin, LaToya, Stevie, Norris III, Kyieme, Dephon, Brenden and Justice.

Thirteen great-grandchildren NaRiyah, Wynter, Aaliyah, Harlem, Dilma, Delina, Arie, Logan, Khalani, Kyieme Jr., Khalia, Khalil and Kaleef. Many adorned nieces and nephews who she loved.

 Funeral service will be 11am Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618 . Calling hours will be 9am until the time of service. Interment will be private.
