Carrie Lee Randall Obituary

Carrie L. Randall, age 83, was born on November 21, 1941, in Norfolk, Virginia, to the late George and Mary Cuffee. On August 10, 2025, surrounded by love, she peacefully entered eternal rest at Helen Fuld Medical Center.

Carrie's early years were shaped in Norfolk, where she received her education before planting her roots in Trenton, New Jersey, where she would spend most of her life. She worked faithfully and diligently throughout her career, first at Johnstone Research Training Center for 25 years, then at New Lisbon Development Center, and ultimately retiring from Trenton Psychiatric Hospital after 39 years of dedicated service. Her work reflected her compassion and commitment to helping others.

Beyond her career, Carrie lived a life anchored in faith and love.

For over 35 years, she was a devoted member of Friendship Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Saunders. Even after his passing, Carrie remained a steadfast and faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church until the Lord called her home. Her church family was dear to her heart, and her faith was her guiding light.

Carrie was preceded in death by her loving parents, George and

Mary Cuffee; her brothers, George (Evelena) and Alphonso Cuffee; and her sisters, Delores Johnny) and Mary Cuffee. She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved children: James

L. Randall of Trenton, Willie R. Randall (Taesha) of Trenton, Carla Randall of Virginia, Joan M. Cuffee of Virginia, and Patricia Randall of Virginia. Her legacy continues through her adored grandchildren: Jamar Randall, Tiffany Randall, Demetrius Randall, Kisha Randall, Gil Randall, and Tonya Bullock, all of Virginia. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, extended family, church family, and friends who will forever carry her love in their hearts. Carrie's life was one of service, devotion, and unwavering love for her family and faith. To know her was to experience kindness, wisdom, and strength. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit and legacy will live on through all who were blessed to know her.
