With much love spread and many memories shared, our beloved Carin accepted his angel's invitation into the kingdom on Saturday, November 4, 2023 in Trenton, New Jersey. As a result, our hearts are less bright, but we know the heavens are filled with extra doses of love, joy, peace and laughter.
Carvin S. Council was born March 16, 1971 in Trenton, New Jersey to Carvin Council and Ernestine T. Council. He was educated at Faith Christian Academy, Ireland Private School and a graduate of Trenton Central High School. He was currently employed by Amazon before his disability.
In his leisure time, Carvin loved grilling his favorites meats. He also enjoyed playing cards and listening to music. He was an avid fan of football; his favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys. Carvin loved his family and close friends and the quality time he spent with all of them.
He was preceded in death by his father Carvin Council; his paternal grandparents John Council and Lubertha Council; maternal grandparents Ernest and Adeline Thomas; his sister Ahsaki K. Council-Lewis; aunts Gerline Jackson, Juanita Scarboro, Angeline Livingston, Sandra Carroll, Marilyn Robbins-Council and Patricia McCoy; uncles John (Mary) Council, Samuel Council, Larry Council, Ronald Matlock and Robert Lee Dixon.
Carvin's memory will be cherished and forever remembered by his mother Ernestine T. Council (Steen); his brother-in-law William Lewis; his god sister Amber Delony; his god brother John Bing nephews Imir and Jamir; aunts Annette (Pierre) Green, Elaine Matlock, Marietta Council, Vera Council, Gloria Moses-Council, Beverly Council, Tony McCoy, Hattie and Eveline; uncles Raymond (Gwen) Thomas, Alfred (Sandra) Council, Jesse (Paula) Counci Wayne (Annette) Council and Clarence Scarboro; a brother/cousin Reginald "RC", Bryant "B" Council; his special friend Mell McClain; his three best friends Minta Tracy, Melissa and all of Black Top Friends; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 1pm Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Shiloh Baptist Church, 340 Calhoun St., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hours will be 11am until time of service. Interment will be private. Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home.
