On Sunday, February 1, 2026 in Trenton, New Jersey, Chanise peacefully answered the Master's call from labor to reward and collected her wings and went on to glory. A job well done my good and faithful servants.
Chanise Lovae Burgess was born on Monday, November 22, 1971 in North Carolina, to Blanche Lewis Burgess and Wilford Bridges.
She was educated in the Sumpter public schools in North Carolina. Chanise furthered her education where she attended college in Alabama and valued education throughout her life. She also joined the military where she served in the US Army. She was employed as a CDL Bus Driver
In her leisure time, Chanise expressed her love through her cooking, her laughter, and her devotion to her children. She was a mother not only to her own, but to anyone who needed love, comfort, and a place to belong. She attended The Church of Christ in Trenton.
Chanise's memory will be cherished and forever remembered by the loves of her life her twin children, Antwan (Chardasia) and Aneisha (Cea'asia); her youngest daughter, Shanice; her beloved grandchildren, Cayden, Antwan Jr., Marlee and a bonus grand- child Simone; her special friend, Elwood; a host nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 12pm Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Church of Christ, 411 North Clinton Ave., Trenton, NJ. Calling hour will be 11am until the time of service at the church. Interment will be private.
