Charlotte Francis Davis; daughter of the late Gladys and Albert Davis was born on July 24,1959 in Trenton NJ. She departed this life on September 6, 2023.
Charlotte was raised in Trenton and educated in the Trenton Public Schools system. She was employed as an Early Childhood Specialist, as she loved caring for and teaching new skills to "her babies." She lived primarily in Trenton but also lived in Richmond Virginia for many years. She returned to Trenton in 2016 to be closer to lier only son.
Charlotte was a very kind and vibrant person. She had a great sense of humor and personality. She showed unconditional love to her son, siblings, family, and friends. She had a beloved cat and loved and cared for "Pick" as if he were her second son. Charlotte also loved fashion, arts and crafts, and specialized in creating beautiful crafts for those she loved, She had a love for riding motorcycles and lit up every time one passed by. Charlotte cared for her community and served as the president of the Residents Councils in Richmond and Trenton.
Charlotte has gone to be with her Lord, with her sisters greeted her at the gates of heaven. She touched the lives of many and will forever be missed by all.
Charlotte was predeceased by her parents; sister, Nadine Mason, and twin sister, Runetta Davis. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Quincy Davis of Trenton NJ, siblings, Aaron L. Patten of Massachusetts, and Dwight Craig of Florida. A sister-in-law, Brenda McCall. Four nephews, Brian and Troy Mason of Virginia, Anthony Davis of Trenton NJ, and Manday Patten of
Virginia. Two nieces, Parrish Mason, and Shannon Towles of Virginia. Close lifelong friends Cathy Stallings and Leroy Beatty, along with a host of family and friends, who will forever treasure her memory.
Funeral service will be 11am Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hours will be 9am until the time of service. Interment will be private.
