Cheryl D. Pearson

Cheryl Denise Pearson age 71, of Trenton, New Jersey entered God's eternal care on Thursday, May 1, 2025. She was born in Trenton on December 29, 1953.

She was educated in the Trenton public school system. Cheryl continued pursuing her education while attending the Helene Fuld Nursing School, she worked hard to receive her RN, BSN and CCHP, (Certified Correction Health Professional). She was employed by Trenton State Prison and North Princeton Developmental Center as a Registered Nurse.

Cheryl enjoyed listening to jazz music, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren and her daughter-in-law "Mello" as she called her. Cheryl also enjoyed spending quality time with her girlfriends Ms. Pat, Ms. Anita, Ms. Sue, Ms. Stacey and Diane.

In her leisure time, she liked going to shows, (concerts). Ms. Cheryl loved her furbaby, she was definitely an animal lover. She had an accident in 2018 but she still was an avid grandmother and mother, most of all. She was loved by so many especially her son Alex.

Ms. Cheryl was preceded in death by her mother Lois Daniels and Dorothy Morgan; her father Ira Daniels; her granddaughter Taeaziah; a brother-in-law Freddie Morgan.

Cheryl's memory will be cherished and forever remembered by her siblings Andre Morgan (Deb), Lisa Smith (Kevin), Rosemary Morgan; a bonus daughter Michelle;

Cheryl is also survived by her two loving children Alexandria and his devoted son Alex (loving daughter-in-law Carmella); her loving grandchildren Alex, Alieek, Ca'mya, Alexus, Danny, Javen, Taivon; her godson Amir ' "Poppy" and Shay "Mazie": special cousins Reggie, Wendy, Kevin and Ricky/Joanie; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 1pm Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 12pm until the time of service. Interment will be private.
