Cheryl Wilson

Cheryl Lynn Wilson, 64, departed this life on November 15, 2023, at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, NJ.

Cheryl was born on August 10, 1959, to the late Fredrick Sr. and Hattie Mae Wilson in Trenton, NJ. She was a lifelong resident of the area. She was educated in the Trenton Public School System and graduated from Daylight/Twilight. Cheryl was previously employed at Diamond Cab Company, New Method Cleaners, and lastly Motor Vehicle Commission before retiring after over 15 years of service.

Cheryl was a mother to everyone she met and loved spending time with family and friends. She was a hands-on mom from A to Z. She shared her life fully with her children. She was' the best mom and provided her children with a wholesome life. She helped them build their foundations and instilled family values and a moral compass that they live by today. She loved the community and created an extended family fur her children. Each of her special children felt pure love from her heart. She always made time to listen, counsel or mentor when anyone reached out to her.

Cheryl was compassionate with her words and generous with her cooking. She nurtured a family, had a passion for plants, was a talented cook and loved to listen to Franky Beverly and Maze. A great day for her. was a fun filled A.C. bus trip or family gathering. Her eyes would light up when she saw the kids. As mommy's eyes grew dim and her strength weakened over the last few weeks, she made sure to remind her family of how much she loved them. She wanted us to all remember the good times when she was full of life. She wanted us to smile a! her memory and drink a Pepsi. We love you, Mama. Wehope we have shown you just how much!

Funeral service will be 12pm Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at New Salem Baptist Church, 316 Union St., Trenton, NJ 08611. Calling hours will be 10am until the time of service. Interment will be private. Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home.
