Christine Thomas Obituary

Christine Thomas, age 70, of Morrisville, Pennsylvania peacefully departed this life March 31, 2025. Born on July 24, 1954, in Port of Spain Trinidad and Tobago, Christine was the cherished daughter of Constantine Victor and Leon Victor. She is predeceased by her brothers Odell and Patrick Victor, Eddie and Francis Victor; sisters Alexandria Crawford and Estlyn Marchand. 
 
 Christine was educated in Trinidad before migrating to the United States in 1985 settling in Trenton, New Jersey. She dedicated countless years of service as a home health aide, caring for families and their loved ones. For over 26 years, Christine worked in housekeeping at Princeton Hospital, where she became a valued and respected presence. Through her hard work and quiet grace, she served with pride and integrity forming lifelong relationships with many. Christine found comfort in the little joys of life-especially a hot cup of decaf Dunkin Donuts coffee (pumpkin flavor), Christine spent her final years surrounded by the family she loved so deeply, enjoying the rest and peace she so fully deserved. 
 
But Christine's greatest role was that of mother and Matriarch- not just in title, but in the way, she lived and loved. She deeply cherished her family, and nothing brought her more joy. Family was everything to Christine She demonstrated the value of sticking together, of loving unconditionally, and showing up for each when it matters most. Her love was the glue that kept the family connected. The lessons she instilled about unity, respect, and family will continue to live through those she nurtured for generations. 

She also leaves behind her siblings Teresa and brother-in-law Lloyd Ramnsey, Bridget and 
brother in law Roy Sloan, Philomen Brewster, Eugene Victor and sister-in-law Shirley Victor, Raymond Victor and sister-in-law Alice Victor, Dorothy and brother-in-law Herbert Smith and Joan Nicholas. Christine also embraced a bonus son Devon: her goddaughter: Christina"; Children- Dionne & Alister Thomas, Wendy and son in law Shawn Bassett, Donna and son in law Hershell Bryant and Denise and son in law Richard Edwards. Grandchildren - Christina Thomas, Sierra Thomas, D'Angelo Alister Thomas, Denisha Williams, Denise Gibson, Atlantis Leonard, Brandy and Brianna Thomas. Alister Branch, Desmond Edwards, and Andrew Edwards: among other grandchildren in Trinidad, her greatest joy was her great-granddaughter, Zayla Jackson, whom she adored deeply. She leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. 
 
Known for her strength, wisdom, and unwavering love, Christine left an indelible mark on every life she touched. She never stopped giving whether through her work, her guidance, or her warm presence. Christine's home was a sanctuary to many, a place filled with comfort, love, a warm meal a true haven for all who entered. Her legacyone of care, compassion, and quiet strength, a legacy that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

 

Funeral Mass will be 10am Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Our Lady of Good Counsel, 137 West Upper Ferry Rd, West Trenton, NJ 08628. Calling hour will be 9am until the time of service. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ..
