Christopher E. Lee Obituary

Christopher Earl Lee,

"Pops" 56 of Trenton, New Jersey passed away on Monday,April 1, 2024 at Capital Health Hopewell in Pennington, New Jersey. Born in Trenton, Chris as he was affectionately known, attended the Trenton Public School systems. He was formerly employed as a Manager with ETS and Trentonian.

He also worked with Philips Inc. formerly Mednet Healthcare for many years until his passing.

Chris had a love for music and a passion for providing humbling words of encouragement to all. He was a man of GOD and loved his family. He was a kind hearted soul who loved helping others.

Chris was a member of Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, Trenton, NJ.

Chris was predeceased by his wife Michele Reid-Lee and his father Samuel Portis.

He is survived by his Mother, Ida Mae Lee-Childs, his daughters Teandra Green (Tyron) of Maryland, Jasmine and Josylyne Lee of Trenton, NJ, and son Christopher J. Lee of Trenton, NJ. He has 10 grandchildren, Crishelle Lee who he has raised since birth, Ahnyiah Lee, D'Maurie Lee, Evan Gréen, Lance Johnson, Kaylee Journigan, Journie Johnson, Ava Green, Avy Green and Dior Mendez-Lee, three brothers Elton Lee of Long Island, NY, Kenny (Barbara) Portis and Samuel Portis of Trenton NJ, one sister Jacqueline Lee of Georgia. A sister-in-law Clarinda R Brown of Trenton, brothers-in-law Ronald Reid, Clarence E. Reid and Gregory K. Reid (Sherry), special friends, Nicole Teel, James "Peanut" Bailey, Dale Jones and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, many relatives and friends from near and far.

 

Funeral service will be 1pm Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 150 N. Clinton Ave., Trenton, NJ 08609. Calling hours will be 11am until the time of service. Interment will be at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing, NJ.
