Clara Diane Martin (Neck) or just Diane born Aptil19th 1953. The Lord mercifully called her home on April 1st 2021 at St. Francis Hospital, Trenton N.J. She graduated from Trenton High in 1972.
She attended Mercer County Community College and Wilfred Academy of Hair in 1981. She was in the hospital for a year when she under went open heart surgery at 9 years of age. December 28th , 2006 Diane received a heart transplant from a 22 year old donor from Newark, N.J. Diane was a caretaker and hairstylist for many ,Years. She enjoyed taking pictures, dancing) traveling, teaching children, eating, shopping, and swimming. Most of all she loved the Lord and being around family and friends. Sister Martin attended Macedonia Baptist Church faithfully. Diana Was the Senior Usher Board Chaplin. She was also apart of the Sunday School staff and was always ready to volunteer when needed. She was a member of the Lady Scott 202 Eastern Stars Chapter and the Usher Council of Trenton and Vicinity, Cavalier Girls Drill Team and AEO Club.
Predeceased in death by her parents, Lester Martin and Clara Smith Martin; 1 sister, Gladys Tyson; 3 brothers, Lester, Clarence and Angelo Martin; Silas and Rosa Martin (paternal grandparents. Monroe Smith and Dora Griffin (maternal grandparents) 1 niece and 3 nephews.
Diane leave to cherish her memory, (long time companion) Charles Nock Sr. 2 daughters; Sabrina Nock and Kimyata Nock- Moore. 2 sons; Charles Nock Jr. and Rahsan Nock. 9 grandchildren; Jabriel Moore, Kabria Phillips, Genesis Ashburn, Zhane Neck; Kimyata Laws, Chase Neck, Charles Nock III, and Carmon Thompson. 2 great grandchildren; Leon and November Phillips. 1 brother; Jerome Martin (Tampa FL), 5 sisters; Elise Martin- Day, Dora Martin- Paulus, Rosetta Martin (N.J), Pamela Live (Darrel Live) of Sarasota FL. Althera Angie Martin (Atlanta GA); 1 aunt; Cleopatra Barnswell (Ohio); Brother in- law; Clifton Tyson (Tampa F.L.). Several nieces, nephews and cousins. 3 close friends; Beverly Council, Toni Graves- Woods, and Karen Kelly. Her prayer partner ; Sylvia Montgomery and a host of loved family and friends.
Funeral service will be 1pm Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Ministerios Fraternidad Cristiana, 715 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 12pm until the time of service. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home.
