Clover M. Deacon

Clover Deacon, age 70, peacefully passed away on January 21, 2026, at Capital Health in Trenton, New Jersey.

Clover was born in Portland, Jamaica on August 3, 1955 to Ronald and Cecelin Perry. She was raised in Jamaica, where she developed strong values rooted in faith, family, and hard work. She received her education in Jamaica and proudly graduated from Pembroke High School. In her early years, she worked faithfully as a housekeeper, a role that reflected her humble and caring nature. Clover married Justin Deacon in April 1994, and together they were blessed with two children.

In 1995, Clover migrated to Trenton, New Jersey, where she continued her life of service and dedication. She was employed by the Trenton Public School District as a dietary aide at Rivera School, where she was known for her commitment, reliability, and compassion for others.

Clover was a devoted Christian and a faithful member of the Unity Church of God. She was an active and supportive churchgoer who attend d and uplifted many congregations, including Beulah Church of God and the Philadelphia Church of God (7th Day). She also loved visiting and supporting the ministries of Mt. Zion Church of God and Ephesus Adventist. Her faith was central to her life, and she served God with sincerity and devotion.

Clover was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She is survived by her devoted husband, Justin Deacon Sr.; her children, Lashana Deacon, Justin Deacon Jr., and Cherly Deacon; her beloved grandchildren, Antonio Deacon, Nieva Kelly, and Isaac Kelly. She is also survived by her siblings: Paula Grant, Ramsey Perry, David Perry, and Jerry Perry.

Clover was known for her kind heart and her commitment to helping others. She lived a life of service, generosity, and faith, touching the lives of many through her quiet strength and compassion. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, church family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, faith, and service will live on forever.

Funeral service will be 11am Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 10am until the time of service. Interment will be at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing, NJ.
