Clyde Brooks

Clyde Brooks was born on August 15,1973 to Ethel Brooks and the late Clyde Jones. He departed this life on June 14, 2023 at Capital Health Medical Center-Fuld Campus in Trenton, New Jersey.

Clyde, was educated in the Trenton Public School System. He was a lifelong Trenton resident.

Clyde, was affectionately known as (Top Cat) the ladies were fond of him earning him the nick-name Top Cat. His incredible laughter, happiness, striking  personality and beautiful spirit will never  be forgotten. He also enjoyed rapping, singing, reggae music and playing cards. He left a warm friendly impression on those in his presence. He was truly loved by many.

Clyde's,family was very important to him and he enjoyed sharing in all the moments that it brought on.

Our hearts are less bright, but we know the Heavens are filled with an extra dose of love, joy, peace and laughter."

Clyde, was predeceased by: his father: Clyde Jones. 2 Uncles: Jack and Willie Brooks and 1 Aunt: Jacquelyn Brooks,.

Clyde, leaves to cherish his precious memories, his mother: Ethel Brooks. 2  Sons: David Wesley and Kori Davis. 1 Grandson: David Wesley Jr. and 1 Granddaughter: Dream Wesley. A host of other Cousins, Relatives and Friends.

 An Open Mic Memorial service will be held at 10-11am Friday, September 15, 2023 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Interment will be private.
