Corey L. Jones Obituary

Corey Lavar Jones we born Seplember8, 1883 in Trenton. NJ to his mother Virgie Brown and the late James Childs. He departed his life on 0ctober 18, 2023 at Capital Health Fuld Campus in Trenton, NJ.

Corey was educated in the Hamilton Public school District, participating in the Hamilton Pace Baseball League. He was the founder of Extreme Preservation LLC: a property maintenance and commercial cleaning and business.

"For God so loved the word, that He gave His only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3416.

Corey was a believer in God, a very caring man who always carried a smile wherever he went. He would take every opportunity to help family and friends; most notably by teaching them what he knew in order for them to get ahead in life. Corey's business acumen allowed him and Aida to successfully own and operate their own company.

There is no doubt Corey was a "momma's boy"; no matter what age he was. Corey loved his mom, Aida, sister, and his children.

Corey will be remembered for his humor and his heart of gold. Forgiving without conviction and often giving the best version of himself as an example. To see Corey at any moment was the best part of your day; the positivity and genuine love for his family was undeniable.

Predeceased by his father James Childs and son Nayvon Jones, he leaves to cherish his memories, his mother and stepfather Pastor Virgie (James) Brown, fiancé Aida Santos; children Cordajah Jones, Damir Webb, Airy Jones and Aiden Jones; maternal grandmother Letha Inman; siblings, Felisha Jones, Jennifer Childs, James (Victoria) Child's, Jr., Demario (Allison) Childs, and Jonathan (Linda) Childs; nephew O.C. Hightower; step-siblings, Shanell Brown; Ontaya Brown-Turner and James L. Brown; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends and brother-in-law Tron. Also his special Aunt Irene Phillips. His friends and family will miss his passion for the Green Bay Packers and his love for those closest to him. He enjoyed experiencing adventures with his loved ones and making new
memories with them.

*A loving father, tender and kind, what a beautiful memory you left behind
