Craig E. Jones

When someone you love becomes a memory. that memory becomes a treasure.

Craig Eugene Jones was born on November 3, 1963 in Trenton, NJ. He was a lifelong resident of Ewing, NJ. Craig received his formal education at Our Lady of the Divine Shepherd and Ewing Township Public Schools, class of 1981. He went on to study at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.

Craig was a master tailor. His penchant for fashion design gained him a reputation as the go-to person for all things fabulous. He was always well put together when he was not cooking or landscaping. In his words, "I can dress!"

There was never a time that Craig was not up for an adventure. He enjoyed attending church services, concerts, and traveling, even if he went alone. It was rare that he went any place and not run into someone that he knew. Craig could light up a room and was the life of EVERY party. You could always find him on the dance floor. Craig was a giver and family oriented. He was always there to lend a helping hand. It will be hard to imagine holidays and events without his wit, humor, and fashion advice. He will be greatly missed.

Craig was preceded in death by his parents, Buddy and Lydia Jones and brother Ronald Bowen, all of Ewing, NJ.

He is survived by his brothers Steven Bowen, Sr., and Charles Jones of Ewing, NJ, and brother James Molder of Trenton, NJ; nieces and nephews Brandon (Michele), Corinne, Morgan, and Steven, Jr., and a host of special family and friends.

Funeral service will be 11am Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618 . Calling hours will be 9am until the time of service. Interment will be at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing, NJ.
