With much love spread and many memories shared, our beloved Cynthia departed this life on Sunday, June 8, 2025 in Trenton, New Jersey. As a result, our hearts are less bright but we know the heavens are filled with extra doses of love, joy, peace and laughter.
Cynthia McWhite was born on August 5, 1958 in Dillon, South Carolina to Wesley and Arnetha McWhite. She was educated in the Trenton public school system. Cynthia had various jobs over the years: Trane, HomeHealth Care & Private Duty Assignments. Her most important role was being a mother to her five children.In her leisure time, Cynthia loved to cook and would feed the whole City of Trenton if she could.
She was preceded in death by her parents Wesley and Arnetha McWhite; three brothers Gregory, Melvin and Anthony; lastly her son Christopher McWhite.Cynthia’s memory will be cherished and forever remembered by her four children James McWhite, Larry Ames, Darryl Young Jr. and India Henderson (Basham); her three precious granddaughters Lyric and Leah Ames, Jada Henderson; her one sister Constance Moore; Cynthia has an extended family, “The Singletons” as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Viewing will be held from 12-1pm Monday, June 16, 2025 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Interment will be private.
