Denise Daniel

On Monday, May 4, 2026, our beloved Denise fought the good fight, kept the faith. transitioned and finished her course from this earthly life to receive her promised reward by God.

Denise June Daniel was born on Saturday, August 8, 1964 in Trinidad and Tobago to Elcina Antoine and Charles Daniel.

She was educated in the Trinidad public school system. After moving to United States, Denise continued her education while attending Mercer County Community College. She was employed as a Medical Assistant.

In her leisure time, Denise loved shopping for clothes, her passion was handbags, shoes and perfume. She also enjoyed eating, especially her seafood. Denise also loved her family and spending quality time with them.

She was preceded in death by her mother Elcina Antoine; her father Charles Daniel; her two brothers Leroy Antoine and Boyie Daniel; her sister Tiny Daniel.

Denise's memory will be cherished and forever remembered by her three brothers Maynard Daniel, Ben Daniel (June) and Wayne Antoine (Stephanie); her nieces Ashley Daniel, Paula Antoine and Crystal Williams; her nephews Elijah Gist, Jadyel Jean and Curton; a cousin Bernadette Kolton; a sister-in-law Debra Pierre; a dear friend Guyatri James; and a host of other relatives and other friends.

Though she is gone, her legacy of love, laughter and faith lives on in all of us. We know that although she is absent from her earthly body, she is present with our Lord. Rest well Denise, we love you and miss you dearly. 

Funeral service will be 12pm Friday, May 15, 2026 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 11am until the time of service. Interment will be private.
