When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure.
Donelle F. Miles, son of Herbert and Jeannette Miles, was born on April 18, 1971 in Trenton, NJ.
He was a lifelong Trenton resident and graduated from Trenton Central High School. He served with the U.S. Army in Iraq during the GulfWar.
Donelle was an active member of Grant Chapel AME. Church for most of his life. He was a dedicated member of the Trustee Board, drove the church van to pickup any member who needed transportation for church activities and played drums during our worship services.
Donelle was formerly employed as a delivery driver by the Trenton Board of Education, truck driver at Central Paper Company and Waste Management Disposal Company and a part-time truck driver for WalMart, Donelle changed his career path following fast-track medical training and became a certified nurses assistant. At the time of his passing, he was employed as a CNA at Complete Care at Park Place, Monmouth Junction, NJ for the past two years. During his employment at Complete Care, Donelle was loved and respected for his encouragement of his patients through conversations about God and his family. He was always on time for his shifts and never missed a day of work. He was was very witty, opinionated "stuck to his guns" and loved to discuss the Bible with anyone.
Donelle F. Miles departed this life and went on home to Glory on Thursday, Veterans Day, November 11,2021 at 5:55 a.m. This loving father, son, brother and friend wi!! be truly missed.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Allen and Emma Kate Johnson, Marshall and Willa Mae Miles, and great-grandmother, Jannett Jackson.
ln addition to his parents, Donelle leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Azalea Nyomi Miles and her mother, Darshelle Miles; his fraternal twin sister, Donna N. Miles (David); his
brother, Brenden Miles (Crystal), one niece, Asia Shakur (Sharief), special friend, Lois Davis and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 12pm Monday, Grant Chapel A.M.E Church, 261 Mercer Street, Trenton, NJ 08611. Calling hour will be 11am until the time of service.  Interment will be private.
