EDDIE CORNELIUS MCNEIL, affection ately known as "Peter Gu.,"Was born on October 3, 1950. to the late Eddie McNeil and the late Stella Brown in Monticello, NY. He was a proud product of
the Trenton Public School System, graduating from Trenton Central High School, Class of 1968.
Following his graduation, Eddie made the honorable decisionto serve his country by joining the United States Army. Hefaithfully served from November 26, 1969, to December 13, 1971, earning a Certificate of Appreciation for his outstanding contribution and honorable service during a critical time in our nation's history. His devotion to duty and spirit of sacrifice exemplified the proud tradition of military service. He was honorably discharged, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and patriotism.
After completing his military service, Eddie returned home and began working at Young's Rubber.
A man of deep faith, Eddie found joy in serving the Lord as a Trustee and lifting his voice in songs of Zion. He also served as a Deacon at New Bethel Kingdom Faith Ministries, where he dedicated his time to ministry and uplifting others.
He was also an avid sports fan, with a special love for football and basketball, and his favorite teams were the Chicago Bears
and the LA Lakers.
EDDIE was predeceased by his beloved daughters Alicia Denise McNeil, his parents Eddie and Stella McNeil; In-laws: Deacon Danzy and Deaconess Taisy O. Parker, One brother, Gary
McNeil, two brother-in-laws, Rev. Dr. Gregory Parker and Kevin Parker.

First Lady Betty Rowe, six sisters, Lillian McNelil, Patricia Ollie. of Norfolk, Va., Linda (Moses) Blount, San Antonio, Texas, Deborah (Benjamin) Woodard, Norfolk, VA, Palrika (Donald) Molder. N.
(Jeffrey) Young, Sister-in-laws, Brenda McNeil, Hilda Parker, Rey Jacqueline Y. Parker- Haggins, Evangelist Deborah Parker King. Rev. Dr. Karen Parker, Sister-in-law, Kym Goolsby Rowe, Brothers Robert (Delaware), Rev. Felton Rowe Jr. Xavier "Fella" Parker with seven grandchildren and a Host of Nieces and Nephew, Cousins, and Friends.
Funeral service will be 11am Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 150 N. Clinton Ave., Trenton, NJ 08609. Calling hours will be 10am until the time of service. Interment will be 2:30pm Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA .
