Edward has earned his wings. He answered the call suddenly on Tuesday, August 12,2020 at Capital Health Regional at Fuld and took his final flight home. Our hearts are less bright. but we know the heavens are filled with extra doses of love, peace and laughter . . Edward Thomas Fisher was born December 20, 1950 in Accomack County, Vir
ginia to Esther Sarah Fisher.
"Duke" as he was affectionately attended Worcesther Junior/Senior High School. He relocated to Trenton, New Jersey where he was employed at Mansfield. He also worked as a cook at Wishbones.
In his leisure time, Edward was a volunteer at Cadwalader Methodist Church where he delivered food. He enjoyed fishing and playing card games, especially spades.
He was preceded in death by his mother Esther Sarah Fisher; brothers James Fisher and Robert Fisher.
Edward's memory will be cherished and forever remembered by his brother Sammie Fisher (Edna); a nephew Michael Roberts; two nieces Martha Goss and Yatima Brewer; couisns Mabel Fisher, Joyce Ann Fisher, Debra Dixon and Roscoe Fisher Jr.: a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Services will be 10 – 11 am Friday, August 21, 2020 at the Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave, Trenton, NJ, 08618. Interment will be at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing, NJ.
