Edward Jones Obituary
Edward Calvin Jones, 43 passed away peacefully on June 4, 2021 at Capital Health Regional Hospital in Trenton, New Jersey. Edward was born in Helene Fuld Hospital on February 24, 1978.
He graduated from Trenton Central High School, worked at Braun S Express as a commercial driver, and he also served his county in the United States Army for several years in the US and Overseas.
Anyone that knew Eddie, knew he loved to play cards and go to the casinos. Eddie loved his children and he valued time with family.
"Manman" as he was affectionately known by his family, always greeted you with a smile and was a happy and friendly person he had a passion for learning bible scriptures, and he spent hours listening to oldies. Manman lived a great Life and love to go on adventures like kayaking and scuba diving with his best friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Harriet Jones and Gregory McNeill and step- father Thomas L. Hackley; and one brother, Deion W. Jones.
He leaves to cherish his memory: Two daughters, Diona H. Jones, and Destiny B. Jones of Morrisville PA, one son Gregory S. Jones of Trenton, NJ, two sisters, Tara K Jean and Janet M. Donovan of Middlesex County NJ, three brothers, Steven L. Jones of Mercer County, NJ, Bayshine L. Jones of Union County NJ, and Thomas L. Jones of Atlanta Georgia; and his best friend, Corey McCoy and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Home Going Service for Edward C. Jones on Tuesday June 15, 2021 is as follows: 11am-1pm viewing followed by service at 1pm at: Way of the Cross Holy Temple Ministries 30 Princess Diana Dr. Ewing Township, NJ 08836 Immediately following funeral, repass and balloon release will be at: American Legion 560 Schiller Ave. Trenton NJ 08610 Edward’s family is asking those attending his services to wear some form of red which was his favorite color.
