Elvis K. McNeil

When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure . 

Elvis K. McNeil, affectionately known as "Boo-Boo" was born January 8, 1962 in Trenton, New Jersey where he lived all of his life. 

Elvis was educated in the Trenton public school system. Boo-Boo was a handyman and did jobs such as painting, cleaning, packing and moving; however, his biggest job was babysitting his nieces and nephews. He'd often take them on wild adventures (or so we thought). 

He was a devoted son, brother, uncle and friend, Boo-Boo loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed watching karate movies and thinking he would be the next "Blackie Chan". 

Elvis P. McNeil departed this life on Friday, November 25, 2022 at Capital Health Hospital at Fuld. 

He was predeceased by his parents Cora Lee Clemons and Thomas McNeil Sr.; two sisters Patricia McNeil and Gertrude Davis; five brothers Thomas Jr., Ellis, Jeffery and Donald McNeil. 

Boo-Boos memory will be cherished and forever remembered by his three brothers James Clemons, Kelvin and Wadi Abdulhakim all of Trenton, NJ; three sisters Margie McNeil Davis of Trenton, NJ, Mary (John) Garner of Lawrenceville, NJ and Bessie McNeil of Bordentown, NJ; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, 
other relatives and friends. 

When you come to the end of the road and the sun has set on me, 

I want no rites in a gloom filled room, why cry for a soul set free. 

Miss me a little-but not too long, and not with your head bowed low, . 

Remember the love that we once shared, Miss me-but let me go. 

For this is a journey that we all must take, and each must go alone. 

It's all a part of the Master's plan, a step on the road to home. 

When you are lonely and sick at heart, go to the friends we know. 

And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds, 

Miss me-but let me go. 

Funeral service will be 1pm Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hours will be 11am until the time of service. Interment will be private.
