Equilla Sample Obituary

Equilla Austell Sample of Ewing, New Jersey, age 83, departed this life on September 5, 2020 at Fuld Hospital. 
 
She was born in Hightstown, New Jersey where she was a resident of the commu­nity her entire life. 
 
Equilla was educated in the Hightstown public school system. She was employed and retired from the State of New Jersey with over 35 years of service. 
 
She is the widow of the late Elijah B. Sample; the daughter of the late David and Thelma Austell. 
 
Equilla's memory will be cherished and forever remembered by her four children Sheila Sample, Keith Sample (Christine), Elsaree Sample Snelling (Calvin) and Ursula Sample; one sister Vanaudrey Williams; one brother Irvin Austell (Mildred); three grandchildren Laticia Sample Akins (Terrence), Ajiah Brown and Alizah Sample; three great grandchildren; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. 

Services will be 1 – 1:30pm Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at the Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave, Trenton, NJ, 08618. Calling hours will be at 12pm until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Ewing Cemetery, Ewing, NJ.
