Ernestine was a faithful member of the New Hope Church of God and Christ, and she was also a member of Trenton Church of Christ for several years. She loved to sing in the choir and was known to fill the halls of the third floor at the Water's Edge Nursing Home. She was such a good cook and everyone knew it. Ernestine was also a baker, making delicious pies and cakes for so many people.
