We the family, praise God for the watchful eyes over our beloved one. On Saturday August 9, 2025, God looked down upon Everett and said, "Servant of God well done, come and rest from your labor." Everett closed his eyes for a peaceful rest.
Everett E. Ram bough was born Saturday, May 14, 1949, in Bronx, New York to Nettie Mae Rambough Garrett and Freddy Garrett.
He was educated in the Bronx public school system. He was employed at Greenwood House in Housekeeping for more than thirty years.
Everett's passion was playing the piano as a young man. His highlight was performing at Carnegie Hall in New York.
He was preceded in death by his mother Nettie Mae Rambough Garrett and Freddy Garrett; his grandparents Harry and Flora Mae Rambough; three uncles Griffin Wardell and Willie Rambough; two aunts Mary C. Dean and Winifred S. Pollard.
Everett's memory will be cherished and forever remembered by his daughter Jacqueline Riley; three grandchildren Jaron, Asmoredjo, Jayla and Jade Riley; his long-time companion Alverna Brown; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Everett leaves behind a wealth of memories both full of laughter and tears. He leaves behind cherished memories to his sister, cousins, nephews, nieces and many childhood friends.
An Open Mic will be held at 1pm Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 12pm until the time of service. Interment will be private.
