When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure.
With much love spread and many memories shared, our beloved Fannie accepted her angel's invitation into the kingdom on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Capital
Health Regional at Fuld in Trenton, New Jersey. As a result, our hearts are less bright but we know the heavens are filled with extra doses of love, joy, peace and laughter.
Fannie Doris Roberson was born December 17, 1938 in Elm City, North Carolina to Eva and Elmo Roberson.
She was educated in Newport News, Virginia. She was employed at Lawrenceville Prep School as a kitchen server. She was also employed at Skillman as a dietician and Trenton Psychiatric as a food preparer and Morris Hall as a kitchen staff.
In her leisure time, Fannie loved to sing. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family, friends, especially her grandchildren. Fannie also loved serving the lord. She was a member of the Potter's House.
She was preceded in death by her mother Eva; her father Elmo and Frank Sr.; son Michael Sanders and Timothy Roberson; sisters Ruby Turner and Amie Benjamin.
Fannie's memory will be cherished and forever remembered by her son Henry Sanders (Myra); sister Geraldine (Earl); her brothers Frank Jr., Dennis and Linwood; granddaughters Brishelle and Brielle Sanders; one additional grand-child; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Remembering My Mother
I thought of you with love today but that is nothing new,
I thought about you yesterday and days before that too
I think of you in silence I often speak your name,
All I have are memories and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is my keepsake with which I1l never part.
God has you in His keeping I have you in my heart.
Love You,
Henry
