Faye Streater

After a graceful eighty-two years of providing us with happiness and smiles, our beloved Faye accepted her angel's invitation to join our Lord in paradise on Friday, May 14, 2021 at home. As a result, our smiles are a little less bright, however we know the Heavens are filled with extra doses of joy and happiness.

Faye Marie Streater, born September 21, 1938 in Burlington, North Carolina to Robert McPherson Sr. and Nevolia McPherson.

She was a graduate of Princeton High School. She was employed as a Nurses Assistant. Faye attended First Baptist Church of Princeton where she was an faithful, devoted  and active member. She served as President of the Ladies Guild, and she was a member of the Nurses Unit. Faye was past Worthy Matron of Aaron Lodge Chapter #8, OES, PHA, and she served as treasurer for many years. She was also a member of Khufu Court #118 and past President of Mercer County American Legion.

In her leisure time, Faye loved tending to her garden. She also enjoyed going to the casino.

She was preceded in death by her father Robert McPherson Sr.; her mother Nevolia McPherson.

Faye’s memory will be cherished and forever remembered by her husband Charles Streater; her brother Robert McPherson Jr. (Carolyn); two sisters-in-law Sharon Streater LeCompt and Henrietta Streater; her children Randolph Bullock, Deborah Green and Kenneth Bullock Sr.; grandchildren Markeise Bullock Jr., Ciara Bullock, Alonzo Green, Kenneth Bullock Jr., Rashad Bullock, Alexus Bullock, Nieme Banks; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral service will be 11am Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Princeton, 119 John St., Princeton, NJ, 08542. Calling hour will be 10am until the time of service. Interment will be at Princeton Cemetery, Princeton, NJ. Arrangements are by Hughes funeral Home.
