Flora Ann Foley of Trenton, NJ was born September 16,1954 in Opp, Alabama to the late Buster F. and Georgia Mae Brooks.She was affectionately known as "Flo".
Flora departed this life at Capital Health of Hopewell surrounded by her loving sons on Friday, September17th, 2021.
Flora received her early education at Carrol Robbins Elementary School and attended Trenton Central High School in Trenton, NJ. She worked at Blakely Laundry, Jasper Lamp Company, Luther Towers, and Lutheran Social Ministries until her retirement.
In 1972, she met the love of her life, her husband the late Johnnie H. Foley. Through their love and commitment they raised three wonderful men.
Flora accepted the Lord at an early age at Ebenezer C.O.G.I.C . under the leadership of Elder Clinton Love. In 2009, she joined Wayne Avenue Baptist Church. She was a faithful member up until present. She enjoyed singing with the inspirational choir and uplifting the name of Jesus.
In addition to her parents, Flora is predeceased by her grandpar ents, Fred and Alice Loman whom helped raise her, sister Mary "Bunchie" Brooks and brothers Calvis Brooks and Edmond Brooks. She leaves to cherish her loving memory forever three sons, Clifton W. Parks, Jr of Ewing, Gordon Nathanial Foley of Trenton, NJ and Walter Henry Foley of Trenton, NJ; three loving sisters, Clementine Ferrell of Belmar, NJ, Thelma Brooks of Bir mingham, AL and Ellen Brooks of Trenton, NJ; two brothers Cleo Brooks (Mary) and Loroner "Ronnie Baby" Brooks (Christina); seven Grandchildren, Nathaniel James, Isaiah Parks, Amir Foley, Zaire Foley, RaJohn Foley, Jaevon Parks and KahMil Williams, and one great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and very special friend John Patten.
Funeral service will be 11am Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Wayne Avenue Baptist Church, 30 Wayne Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hours will be 9am until the time of service. Interment will be at Colonial Memorial Park, Trenton, NJ. Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home.
