Frances Gordon

Frances Marie Gordon was born on October 23, 1943 to the late Willie and Slimer Hill. She departed this life on Friday, January 28, 2022 at the Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, New Jersey. 

"Nana" as she was affectionately known was born in Athens, Georgia and became a lifelong resident of Trenton, New Jersey. She was educated in the Trenton Public Schools and 
worked many years in the hotel and dry cleaning industry until she retired. 

She attended the First Pentecostal Prayer of Faith Church, where she was baptized. 

Her favorite past times included listening to music, sewing, dancing, crocheting, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. 

In addition to her parents, Frances is predeceased by her grandson, Tyrone Bryant, and her best friend of many years, Ms. Lucy McKoy. 

She leaves to mourn and cherish precious memories her brother, Arthur Hill; sister, Willie Ann Jackson-Church; ex-husband of Virginia, Joseph Rivers; her children, Horace Gordon, Tyrone Gordon, Cindy Gordon, Chenise Gordon, and George Gordon (Tiana G.); her grandchildren, Kizzy Gordon (Randy T.), Horace Gordon, Jr. (Earnestine M.), LaToyria Djanie McKoy, Tanaya Mckoy; Chenise McKoy, James McKoy, Devaughn Gordon, Niyasha'Gordon, Tyrell McNeil, Devon Hurd, Kominko Gordon, Reginald Colding, Carltonia Gordon, Carltonae Gordon, Charles "Zeb" Gordon, Lazavier "Zay Zay" Gordon (Ameerah F.), Lauren Princz, Samantha Princz, Byron Gordon, Hannah Gordon, Ruth Gordon, and Abigail Gordon; her special niece, Salema Jackson; and a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and friends. 

 Funeral service will be 1pm Monday, February 14, 2022 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 12pm until the time of service. Interment will be at Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton, NJ.
