Francis C. Okereke Obituary

Francis Chukv.rudi Okereke was born in Imo State, Nigeria to Dominic and Phoebe Okereke on October 13, 1981. His family moved from Nigeria to Ivory Coast in 1994 until they migrated to the United States in 2000. As the oldest of five children, Francis played an integral role in caring for his younger siblings, including preparing meals in their younger years, occasionally watching them, and taking them shopping. 

Growing up. Francis could often be found drawing CAD designs, drafting blueprints. and researching vintage architecture buildings. This passion led him to pursue an education in civil engineering, eventually earning an associate's degree from Mercer County Community College. Over the years, he worked in various fields before landing in security. In his leisure time, he enjoyed spending time at home and finding comic relief in watching TV shows. 

On December 29. 2024, Francis passed away in his home in Hamilton, New Jersey at age 43. He was preceded in death by his father and a baby brother. He is survived by his mother, Phoebe; siblings Raymond, Emmanuel (llliona), and Andrea; his nephews Solomon and Immanuel: and a host of family members and friends here and abroad.

Mass will be hald at 10:30am Thursday, January 16, 2025 at St. Raphael-Holy Angels Parish, 3500 S. Broad St., Trenton, NJ 08610. Calling hour will be 9:30am until the time of service. Interment will be private.
