Gladys Ingram

 

 

Gladys Ingram, 95 of Trenton, New Jersey departed this life on October 17, 2020 at home. She was born to Floyd and Estella Hannah on October 26, 1924 in Trenton, New Jersey. 

 

She attended McClellan and Lincoln Schools, both under the Trenton Public School System. 

 

Gladys was a full time wife, mother and child caregiver. In the late 1970s, she became employed with food services for the Trenton Public School System, both at Munoz-Rivera and Monument Elementary Schools. 

 

Gladys was a long-time member of Union Baptist Church of Trenton, NJ since 1956. She was involved in the former Nickel Ministry, former Senior Choir and Homeless Ministry. 

 

Gladys is predeceased by her parents; Floyd Hannah and Estella Ellis-Hannah, three sisters; Beatrice Mitchell, Doris Dunn, and Ruby Hannah, five brothers; Law­rence Hannah, Earl Hannah, Clarence Hannah, Harold Hannah I, and Ha 'old Hannah II, husband; Kellem Ingram, one daughter; Carol Ann Ingram, one son; 
Kellam L. Ingram and one great-grandson Joshua Moore. ' 

Gladys leaves to cherish precious memories, one son; Charles Ingram of Trenton, NJ, two daughters Estelle E. Ingram of Trenton, NJ and Elder Jean Goodman of Wilmington, DE, one son-in-law; Pastor Robert Goodman of Wilmington, DE, four grandchildren; Terence Ingram (Sezzeal), Tiease Mere9ith, Pastor Jason Miller (Rashida) and Curby Alissa Ingram, six great grandchildren, 10 great great grand­children, one sister; Bernice Mitchell and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Services will be 9-11am Monday, October 26, 2020 at the Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ, 08618. Interment will be at Ewing Cemetery, Ewing, NJ.
