Glen B. McCoy affectionately called "Pete", son of the late George and Julie McCoy, Sr., was born on April 25, 1957 in Trenton, NJ. He departed this life on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at home.
Pete was a lifelong resident of Trenton, NJ and received his formal education in the Trenton Public School-System. After school, he joined the United States Army. He was honorable discharged from the United State Army and National Guard after serving 18 years of service. He was formerly employed by Rusty Scuppers Restaurant in Princeton, NJ, where he was a Line Chef.
Pete was a faithful member of Ujima Village Christian Church of Ewing, NJ. He was also a member of the Cavalier Drill Team.
Pete's love of playing baseball gave him the opportunity to play in the minor league. He loved listening to music and could often be caught listening to his favorites: The Whispers, Blue Note and the O'Jays. He also enjoyed played the bongos. Traveling to Georgia became one of his favorite things to do so he could spend time with his family.
In addition to his parents, Pete was predeceased by his twin brother, G. McCoy; and a son-in-law, Ricky Bullard.
He leaves to cherish his memories: four daughters, Lakeisha (Daniel) Powell Jr. of Hampton, GA, Lakiah Robinson-Bullard, Tishea (Kenyon) McCoy, and Fatima McCoy all of Trenton, NJ; one son, Naquan (Shakera) McCoy, Sr. of Hampton, GA; three brothers, Anthony Edge, George (Cindy) McCoy,Jr., and Gregory McCoy; two sisters, Barbra Edge and Imogene McCoy all of Trenton, NJ; six grandchildren, Qµason McNeill, Kenyon Tootle, Jr., Keirah Tootle, Kaniya Powell, Naquan McCoy,Jr., and True Lee McCoy; two great grandchildren, Quason McNeill,Jr. and Legacy McNeill; his ex-wife, Linda Gregg; and a host of nieces, nephews
Funeral service will 1pm Friday, February 14, 2025 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 12pm until the time of service. Interment will be at Ewing Cemetery, Ewing, NJ.
