Gregory McWhite

Obituary A blessed gift, Gregory Mcwhite, 67, was born to Wesley and Arnetha Mcwhite on March 14, 1954, in Trenton, New Jersey. After battling a short illness, he was called home on November 10,2021, at Capital Health Regional Hospital, Trenton, NJ.

Gregory was educated in the Trenton public school system. He was a hard worker and until his death, he worked part-time at the Trentonian Newspaper along with owning his own father and son cleaning business. He was a loving husband and father. Family and friends were very important to him, and he loved them dearly especially children.

"Mack" as he was fondly called, had a great love for jazz and "oldies" R&B music. He was a sharp dresser in his day and loved his Kango beret hats. He had a great personality and sense of humor. When he knew, he was dressed to the "nines" he would cock his head to the side, smile that "I know 1 look good" smile and walk that walk that only he could master!

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Arnetha Mcwhite; brothers, Melvin and Daniel Mcwhite; son in-law, Karim Muhammad; brother in-laws, Thomas Moore, Barry Worthy, Larry Harris, and father in-law Cameron "Tee" Benison.

Mack leaves to cherish a lifetime of beautiful memories his wife, Cindy Mcwhite; sisters, Constance Moore, Cynthia Mcwhite, Carolyn Mcwhite; brother, Wesley Mcwhite; children, Shantale (Robert), Kenya, Nikia, Tocorna (Jamal), Locorna, Shawn, Constance and Shakira; 27 grandchildren, 6 great­ grandchildren; mother in-law, Carolyn Benison; brother in-laws, Leroy Harris (Rachael), Royal Harris (Regina), Victor Harris; sister in-laws Sharon Ford, [oyann Worthy, Katherine Benison; and a hosts of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends (Sweets Avenue Crew).

 Funeral service will be 1pm Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 12pm until the time of service.  Interment will be at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Ewing, NJ.
