Gwendolyn Glover

With much love spread and many memories ac­cepted her angel's invitation into the kingdom on Saturday, June 11, 2020 in Trenton, New Jersey. As a result, our hearts are less bright but we know the heavens are filled with extra doses of love, joy, peace and laughter. 

Gwendolyn Glover was born July 26, 1956 in Trenton, New Jersey to Joseph Glover Sr. and Willeeni Glover. She remained a Trenton resident her entire life. 

Gwendolyn's memory will be cherished and forever remembered by her mother Willeeni Glover; daughter Helen Glover; her sister Helen V. Glover (Vicki); Milton Glover; four nieces April,Trumaine Carter,Jen Glover of Allentown, PA and Ber­nadette Dixson of Florence, NJ; four nephews Brandon Glover, Terrence Carter, Corey Dixson from Florence. NJ and Michael Glover of Allentown, PA; four aunts Marjorie Garvin, Lula, Delsia and Shirley Glover from Hobe Sound, FL; one uncle Bobby McBride; family friends Tonya Barr and Pat Varlow; a host of cousins and friends. 

She was educated in the Trenton public school system and graduated from Trenton Central High School. Gwendolyn was also educated at the State of New Jersey De­partment of Vocational Division Manpower. 

"Gwen" as she was affectionately called was employed as a Certified Nursing Assis­tant and a barmaid at G&G's Lounge for over fifteen years. 

She was a member of Beauty Grove Primitive Baptist Church where she was bap­tized under the leadership of Elder DF Palmer in 1967. In her leisure time, she en­joyed roller skating and shooting pool. 

She was preceded in death by her father Joseph Glover Sr.; her son Joseph L. Glover Jr.
