Hazel D. Johnson

Hazel Johnson of Trenton, New Jersey was born March 28, 1964 to the late Mary Smith Johnson and Elijah Hawkins. Hazel departed this life on April 29, 2021 at Helen Fuld Hospital in Trenton New Jersey. Hazel was a graduate of Daylight Twilight High School Trenton NJ and

Geriatric Nursing School. She was very proud of her degree from the nursing school. She maintained a long term employment with thehealth care system.

Hazel was a faithful member of Calvary Pentecostal Church of Trenton New Jersey under the leadership of Pastor Pearlie M. Smith. Not only did she know the Lord she loved the Lord. Hazel was a very family oriented person she had a love and a Passion for her grandkids,

She always Was the life of the party. She was a jokester she always love cracking jokes. She was a very special person one moment she will be laughing in the next moment she will be crying. No matter what she was doing she had a spirit that would make you love her.

Hazel was preceded in death by her Mother Mary Smith Johnson and father Elijah Hawkins Her brother Jerry Smith Her sister Pamela Campbell 3 sons Jason Johnson, Frederick Wilson lll, and Devion Bansea.

She was survived by Children Erica Johnson Griffin (Brittie), Devin Johnson, Nieasha Johnson, Frederick Wilson IV her Siblings James Johnson (Ebony) Shelia Mcoy (Willie). Stepfather James Watson, Her Dog Smokie, Special Aunt Pearlie Smith, Special niece Larquista Stephens

Special friends Paulette McQueen, Gwen, Lynn, and Irenedean. Godchildren, Wano Robinson, Amir, Mirah, Tanah Neal, Precious Wilson and a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral service will be 1pm Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Calvary Pentecostal Church, 471 Parkway Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 12pm until the time of service. Interment will be private. Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home.
